In 1994, Mr. Vieau was selected as an Instructor for ASTM Technical & Professional Training, and helped develop and present a two-day course for the two Standards. In 1998, ASTM published the Standard Guide E 1903 Phase II Environmental Site Assessment Process, for which Mr. Vieau was enlisted to develop and present a new two-day course for the Phase II Standard. Mr. Vieau has been instrumental in revising the courses in response to revisions to the Standards, and most recently in response to the Small Business Liability Relief and Brownfields Revitalization Act of 2002. A new 3-day course, combining the Phase I and Phase II Standards with EPA's all appropriate inquiry rule, is now offered. Mr. Vieau was also an invited contributor and official ASTM reviewer for the book entitled: Technical Aspects of Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments, authored by Zdenek Hejzlar, PhD., published by ASTM, October 1999. Dr. Hejzlar is a co-instructor of the ASTM courses on environmental site assessments. Other services offered Among the other services offered by Vieau Associates are: |
